"The world is changing, we're all gonna die!!"

    Isn't that the conservative way?

    It's the Communist Way, comrade.

"He looks up and sees a picture of Big Brother on the telescreen, making him feel happy and safe. As he listens to the war news, he reassures himself of both the great victory he has won over himself and his new found love for Big Brother."

    So sayeth the flock

    Thank you brother stoic.
You have shown us the light, the way, and the truth.

May god, the god, all gods, great and small, bless your soul for ever and ever and all of eternity and then ten thousand years.

If it's going to get so damn warm I wonder if Ricter has started to plant a crop of Cactus on his farm and go into the tequila business?

He can adapt or he can die, but he can't change a damn thing about the climate.

  6. Wow, we got a rant for our trouble, usually it's just some snide little shitty comments..

Tree rings are the most trustworthy measures of time. All the other shit is subject to assumptions about origins and all kinds of psudo science but when somebody talks tree rings even a willfully ignorant jerk like you should listen.

  7. Yes they're the most trustworthy measures of time. rollseyes

Why do you even bother posting?

I notice a lot of ad hominem attacks but no good arguments from the feeble-minded deniers here.

Tree rings are used for those periods before thermometers. As one of multiple proxies. One set of tree rings from one area is not as reliable as multiple tree ring sets along with ice cores and other proxies. Taken together they present a fairly accurate picture of the range. Individually they don't mean much.

Bottom line, this study changes nothing. The climatologists know this means nothing, except perhaps as an academic curiousity. The only ones who think it means something are the moron deniers. The temps still rapidly rise over the last 100 years along with CO2 levels.

Why do you, you've changed no ones mind. Don't you have some coal generated electricity gulping HVAC systems to install?
