That guy resembles nothing of a white man. Does Obama look white to you because based on your definition, he is as white as rice.
Black. In this country, you have the "one drop rule". It took me a long long time to figure out the logic behind it, but then I finally got it: to have even one identifiable drop of black blood is the same as the mark of Cain: you're identifiably a slave, and nothing will ever change that. Obama, who's black ancestors were never slaves, isn't responsible for your perception, or mine for that matter. If race really didn't count, the ordinary people of this country would look a lot more "Hispanic": there'd be a lot more mixed race people running around. Not that this would temper the usual racism. As they say in Brazil, money whitens. A very interesting saying.
Well, this is getting interesting. Please describe for me what makes this guy other than white. I'm actually interested to hear what you've got to say. The whole race thing mystifies me sometimes. A lot, actually. And, by the way, I guarantee you he puts "white" down on his Census form and on any forms he fills out for employment.
Obama has mixed parents just as this guy does. Obama's mother is white. And for all practical purposes, was raised white.
...which actually makes my point. Despite all that, we all see him as black. BTW, and one more time, being "Peruvian" doesn't mean you're non-white. His mom could be descended in a straight line from Spanish colonists without any mixing. We don't know.
