You mean fake money? I never used sim when starting out because of the fill rates with small cap stocks, I don't understand your question.
The opportunity cost I will gave up if I make the transition is a 6 figure salary in the world of finance, but I found out that trading is my passion not working in some office doing boring spreadsheets all day. Also a full head of hair lol.
I never said I was a day trader, some of my trades become day trades because the opportunity presented itself, but most trades are held for 2-4 days
