my guess is that the typical "prop" desk / HF / MM could not compete against a good "retail trader or small spec ======================================== if he did not have the ability to use leverage to bully the marketplace and reap his silly bonus at yrs end assuming his firm did not go belly up first and his quant geeks still had working models ========================================
