There are a number of ailments that give you tremors. One is even called essential tremors. Get a proper diagnosis. Parkinson's presents a number of symptoms in addition to tremors.
Tremors aren't always the first indication or Parkinson's - any cognitive impairment?

    Hello,

My mother had Parkinson disease for almost twenty years so I guess I understand what is all about. I was around 6 years old when the sickness was firstly diagnosed. She was a teacher.
Based on my experience I would probably avoid hire your daughter. Believe me is a source of stress that You may want your family stay not too much in contact. Probably a better choice would be hire someone way older. Regarding the trading related issue If You are a discretionary trader check the macro and maybe create an app with big buttons and all the basic stuff You need. This would be helpful since Parkinson tend to increase tremors when We are under stress. So even If You are experienced total detached trader from P&L is something that is better solve now at the initial stage in order to have a plan to cope as time go forward. Remember are emotions that increase tremors even the good ones. Ah... another advice: Avoid embrace dream from some Doctors... Stay rational and You will do well. Best, P.

Thanks very much for sharing your experience --- it helps. I'm likely stage 2, mild to moderate symptoms. Goal is to delay progression via exercise. Your points make sense. Good to hear your perspective, I appreciate it.

Embrace dream? My neurologist has me on mirapex/pramipexole, a bad side fx med. Tried l-dopa but no effect. Going to try vegetable juicing plus even more exercise on elliptical.

"Embrace dream?" Sorry I understand is out of context without an explanation. Long story short She decided to apply on a research project by a famous European University with the aim to help others too with same disease. She was catholic, with faith in god etc. Years later It ended up to be an extremely toxic cure with doctors on newspaper related to a massive scam with involved pharma companies. No need to go more into details I think I made clear why I mentioned do not "embrace the dream" . As today, as You know, There are not cures available and even a slight hope to cure this specific disease. Michael J. Fox did a good job with his foundation though. Best, P

Live life to its fullest and enjoy it while you can. Screw watching a stupid screen all day, adjust your trading so you can be away from the markets and still make money.

    Ken,

    Sorry to hear.

I have a friend of a friend who states he was cured (no symptoms) from Parkinsons working with the Dr. from the below website. The individual restores old paintings for a living - tedious hand work - and was unable to earn a livelihood for a while do to the tremors. Might be worth a try.
