Whew, 9 pages in and I think we finally covered all of the important stuff. I hope that means I can focus on journaling going forward.
Thoughts to end the day: Don't feel like traveling tomorrow. Hope there aren't any massive market movements while I am traveling.
There will be many massive market movements for, like, forever. If you miss one or two on your trip, don't sweat it. They will be there when you get back. Trust me, I'm watching them fly by every day, like a hawk. Um, if you have open positions, you do have protections in place, yes?
By "large" I mean relative to what the options are implying. So larger than the currently normal large movements, lol. It would take a 4% up move or a 10% down move in the markets to really get me sweating, to the point to where I would have to close and wait until I am back home. It's a short trip as well. I fly to the Big Easy and back in a 24 hour period
Oh, thought you were implying a huge move over a longer term, like a couple weeks. Pffh. Just a day or two? Yer fine if you can handle 4% up or 10% down. Enjoy your flight short flight.
It is always the few days I am out that my underlying decides to move 3 standard deviations, haha. No joke here either, it's happened multiple times. I was in South Korea for 6 weeks just a few months ago, and trading was a nightmare. US markets were open almost exactly when I was sleeping. I wouldn't watch that video even if it was the only one on youtube, haha.
Oh. As a fan of aviation, and an as-yet-not-completed-license flying student, I love it all, can never get enough of it. Maybe this would be better?
