Trading with Fractals

  1. In almost 7 years since that statement there are individuals that have surpassed Mandelbrot's tunnel vision grasp of this specific environment. Most will agree that Mandelbrot's assessment of fractals and how they relate to technical analysis is lacking at best. His understanding of fractals as a whole though is flawless. Heck he created it.

  6. Are you kidding me? You've gotta be kidding me.

    You know how many firms/funds run models like this all the time. One in particular had a hell of a track record (caught the '87 crash) and everyone seems to have a hard-on for him.

    Thanks for the charts. Fractals/Cycles are a great tool.
