His part art, and part science is big. Just speak vaguely and in slight riddles to cover all bases. You can be right or wrong and still win either way.
I'm sure given your background, you are aware of passive ETFs like SPY and QQQ. Even most professional fund managers/traders who work full-time can't beat these passive ETFs over a long-term of >10 years. If you want to trade on your own, it makes sense if you love trading. If you want to do it for the sake of money only, buy passive ETFs. Passive ETFs makes all the more sense since you are asking how to minimise time on investing. Passive wins in this aspect, of course. Otherwise, it won't be called passive. If your family business creates more social value than trading, please go ahead and devote more of your time to your family business than be distracted with trading which can result in losses.

Or 6 hours? But if delta is equivalent to a P(ITM), then what's the big deal? The OP wondered of how to trade while not living nose-to-screen. One key? Be a slave to delta. "Don't be obtuse." (Thank you, Stephen King.)
Meh. Fair enough. (Great catch. Actually, I was just so relieved that I did not lean on Youtube for the scene. )
For example, if you have free 10 min every hour and one full hour in lunch between 9 and 5, then it is possible. But you need to make a good programming and logic for trading which takes SEVERAL years at least.
