Range, s/r and volume would be helpful too, agree price action alone isn't enough... though it's most important

  4. BTW here are some trades I did today that were driven by price action but informed by a lot more than just the chart:

Let me simplify what I said:

Price action is not like looking only through a rear view mirror, because it also considers the present.
Nothing in trading knows the road ahead like a "car racer" does. Not price action. Not anything.

Great. Does what you did disagree with what I said?

  9. Price action is a lagging indicator, it’s not sufficient for you to have a view. A stock being up/down 5% tells you nothing about where it is going.

Price action also gives current information, as well as lagging information.
Nothing tells you what the future holds.

Name one indicator that knows what the future holds.

    These are two simple concepts.

    Here's what I said:
    Another simple concept:

The only "indicators" that don't use past data are the current price, current volume, and current quotes (current level1/2/3 quotes).

So all indicators use lagging data.

    Repeated simple concept:

    No indicator knows the future.
No indicator can use future data.
