Trading US Markets in Europe

  1. Can someone comment on trading US markets in Europe?

    what kind of software can be used and whats the delay in live pricing/execution?

    Living in Europe, you can open an account with almost any us-broker. The same goes for charting software.

    I live in the Netherlands for example and use Esignal for charting and Interactive Brokers as my broker.

    There is practically no delay (time taken for price data to travel across the Atlantic is less than human response time). Lots of different software options, from a phone broker, through IB's TWS, to J-Trader and X_Trader.

    You can use a local broker or open a US account.
