Trading the QQQQ

Discussion in 'Stocks' started by chomp chomp, Dec 23, 2005.

  1. Hi guys,
I am interested in finding out more about trading the QQQQ. I tried googling for the relevant details and still could not find some of the answers i need.

1)I understand that it is a ETF, so is this bound under the $25 k rule for day trading ? (Not that I plan to do this).

    2) Is there a minimum bid size of say 100 shares?

    3) If i buy say 10 shares, does it cost me 10x $41.397 = $413.97?

    4) Then do i win / lose $10 for every dollar it drops assuming i buy 10 shares?

    Thank you for your patience.

    :)

    QQQQ's are like stock - you buy 1 - you get 1 - but 10 get 10 - however, QQQQ's are optionable - buy 1 option - control 100 shares.

I don't buy stock, only options. I don't like watching grass grow.

  4. I have seen Options Spreads in the Q's do rather nicely...
