Watched this video today. When I got to the discussion on journaling (at 8:55) I began to take notes to help remember that I definitely need to make sure I'm doing his suggestions every day. Then at 10:38 he had some good insights about using checklists that I'm planning on following. At about 13:58 he had a game-changing piece of information he shared and by the time I got to what he shared at 15:00, 16:35 and 22:57 it was all just icing on the cake. I plan to really work on making into habits the things he shared. I'm not trying to sell anything. If I seem excited to have found this video it's because it is exactly what I needed to hear at this point in my trading journey.
If you are discretionary trading, then you need to make trading second nature. Day trading is more like combat than flying a plane. That is, your training is what matters and your brain needs to be on auto pilot.

You and I have very different approaches, and perspectives, I personally like to think of, my, trading as....being an artist/painter, observer, sightseer, Something much more....calm, and philosophical, and introspective, Understanding the micro scale, and macro scale, of something, It pays to be patient, and have foresight and understanding, to reap greater rewards,
A lot of guys who trade....seem to be so, rather, angry...and primal, and basic-minded, I'm the complete opposite...of the image of a typical trader. I'm much more like Yoda or Mr. Miyagi....instead of being the main action star. That's your trading downfall....being a primal, action, star.
I.E. You do not trade. You dare not engage with real traders on this forum, because you got nothing. We get it, man.

You have not read the whole journal, as you have admitted. You are judging on a day, not on a lifetime. Don't be daft in trying to equate your opine with your peanut-gallery commentary. I have made and lost more money than you have ever thought was possible in futures. You just don't "get it."

I never claimed I have done "50 million in trading volume". I have claimed that I have probably done that in notional in an argument with Ken. But in my own journal, not that I recall.
