  1. Short qm@61.700, Stop @ 62.700 ... this is a quick scalp, if the market turns back up, I'll bail.

  4. Hey Caddy, where you been?

Using the edit is easier and faster, but I can make another post if you want me to.

... and believe you me, getting that extra point on the ER wasn't hardly improving results ..., in fact while my trading, compared to the average, might have generated a B, when I compare it to just trading my system straight, I get a C-.

Hey well, use these experiences to improve my method (read:KISS and follow it).

    Best Regards,

    Jimmy Jam

  5. While doing my clean-up, input of my numbers for tomorrow's trades and review of today's trades I came across this post by Wiking being commented on by marketsurfer.

It pretty much exemplifies why I'm doing this blog, sans the comment about "generating money for product links" ... the only money I want generated from this process is my own from the development of my trading skills, knowledge and discipline.

    Regards,

    JJ

  6. OK folks,

I tallied up the totals as I said I would.

Comes to a total of 17pts ES equivalent, total.

Freak'in pathetic, on a day when I should have gotten 60.

    That's the truth.

If you compared the results to the average trader, it would look good enough, even give it a B, but according to my system, and all of the **** work I've put into it, it's a C-.

What's the point of having a system if you aren't going to trade by it? This is a good exercise.

Caddy, you have permisson to give me a swift one if the feeling comes over you.

    Best Regards All,

    See you at the Open.

    Jimmy Jam

P.S. For the curious, I'm using a $4,000 performance bond for this exericse, but you'd better make sure that you know what you're doing if you try it with that amount ... this is my spin on Austin's money management algo's.
