  2. man, I might have to close that QM posiiton too, and while ERU is continuing down, I'm not bummed about it (I got in late, and the ES position is looking strong enough).

looks like zn is just going to be chop city for now (means I'm leaving it alone), had to close my QM position at $100 loss (no violating stop rules now, there's no sense in being underwater on a position ... uh, who isn't underwater on their energy positions  :p ), I'll look to re-enter long, maybe later.

now, you know I'm going to have to get some coffee soon.

    later,

    jj

edit, the es position is close, that means I'm totally FLAT, I could get coffee now, but I'll wait a sec ...

  3. yep, looks like the QM is going to give me a double-bottom here, so I'll look to re-enter soon ...

long @ 60.05 QM, that looks like a good'ol double-bottom there, so hopefully this one'l hold for the duration.

  4. oh, oh yeah, back to the business at hand, there was a nice little buy, right on that line the one right about S1 @ 1321.

(in case you're wondering, the bottom indicator is a Bressert DSS, they're really handy for catching potential market turns, particularly when combined with the PSAR.

Feel free to look'em up: www.google.com

  5. I'd say the QM has a way's to go, wouldn't you?

That's why I like to trade multiple markets, you can pick your spots.

    Coffe time.

  6. Oh, so now you want to give me a buy signal?

    Sheesh!

    These indices.

LongES@1325.75, S@1323.75, hopefully this'll be it for a while on this one.

... energy just can't seem to catch a bid! :(

    Later,

    JJ

edit: protective stop moved to breakeven on es, qm, will revisit after lunch.

  8. sigh, the day isn't over yet, but i'll have to review and tabulate these buys/sells in spreadsheet so I can analyze the results on a daily basis (as if I don't have enough to do :) ).

one things fer sure ... romik was correct in saying that posting live calls would hone my skills (it really makes you focus), and I was correct in saying that all of this blogging during market hours is a hellacious distraction from what I think traders are really here to do ... TRADE.

but we'll play this game for a week and I'll see where I end-up ... and at the end of the time period I think I'll just focus on what really matters to me ... TRADING.

    Best Regards All,

    Jimmy Jam

edit: oh yeah, I don't know what you folks are learning from this experience, except maybe that loopy I'm not, my theories are correct and actionable in real-time trading, and that's what I'm going to be about doing, not socializing with the (absolutely wonderful) elite membership.
