As far as why you should diversify across multiple non-correlated markets, obviously, while one market can "dry up" for a while, the chance of all 3 markets going through a dry spell are few and far between. Analysis on my part (which yes, does include reviewing the weeks performance at market close on friday), shows these inter-market relationships to be continuing. These are just concepts that I am presenting, the methodologies that you use to trade these markets, as well as (even more importantly) how you actively manage your money will go a long way towards your ultimate success. *** Regards, Jimmy Jam
R1 - 1331 PP - 1326 S1 - 1321 *** While this morning's gappage certainly looks bullish, I personally wouldn't be buying into it. Looking at a chart I see a downtrend, but remember, prices always retrace. Let's se if R1 give or take a pt or 2 holds price action back. ***
Now, the idea of making Live Calls! has been raised on this thread, but, well that just wouldn't be so easy for me. You see, because when entering a tradeprice action can do one of three things: 1) show that the move was a heafake, instantly turning against your position 2) make a short move in the direction of your trade 3) trend strongly in the direction of your trade. That's a lot of options to monitor in any given trade, and if you're trading more than one market intra-day, umph, I'd be paying a lot of attention to this free thread, now wouldn't I? But who knows, I may reconsider this option for the future ... the thing is folks, I really don't think you'd learn much from it. Best Regards, Jimmy Jam
I mean, I'd have to say, LQM@60.05,S@59.85 or some such code, holding on ZN, and waiting for ER to stop screwing around ...
... and then Short ES@1326.00@S@1328, short ERU @ 723.00, Short ZN@108 15/32S@108 165.32, .. I mean, whew!
and then just to be honest I'd have to say something like, S hit on ZN position (yeah, the weakest one!!!), looking to reshort.
and now, holding shorts in ES and ER, longs in QM, missed that pop in the ZN's screwing around with this ..., oh well, looking for a re-short, any second now. calling a scalp really ain't easy (mainly because I'd rather be focused on trad'in em) later, jj reshort ZN @ 108 20.5/32
Now, the down trend isn't going to last forever, and I'm closing my eru (don't like the price action,a nd it's the most volatile of the bunch), and will probably look to close out the ZN trade also ... why?, because after that serious range expansion we just had, I don't expect continued range expansion, nah, I'm looking for a littlle range contraction). best, jj edit: I won't close zn until it, well, price action gives me a reason
