The moon can easily be traded intraday. Take the lunar quarter cycles and quarter those again. And if you want, quarter yet again. Walla.

Add horizontal lines for a range of price.. ie fibs, pivots, or 8th's and you've got a nice grid that will provide many a trade when price and time converge.

A chart I did a few years ago on a 30 min. GBPUSD chart:

  2. Reminds me a bit of a Murrey Math grid. Don't know if there's any direct correlations there, because I've only glanced at some MM charts, without much study.

  3. Well I guess it's just another coincidence. Today ET was loaded with dire premarket warnings of the next wave of the crash and futures were sure enough looking awful.

We got Doomberg telling us 2,000,000 jobs are lost and a $50Bn Hedge Fund fraud is todays bad news and the market is stuffed.

All I had is a full moon to pull for another "V" reversal against the bad news, crashing prices and the ET pundits.

    GUESS WHO WON?

I've been short the dollar against the euro since last week coming into today. On another forum I called for today to be a massive low against the US dollar based on a lunar cycle. Proving correct so far. I expect next week to provde some brief dollar relief though.

  6. I didn't see the moon lately, but it must have been wobbling off its axis awfully bad, the whole day was characterized by a psychotic wobbling.

Damn that wobbling hunk of cheese.:D

  7. That's because today is the closest the moon has been to the earth in 15 years, and the closest it will be for another 8 years.

Yoohoo, I thought about your moon calls when I saw the full moon last night. Thanks again for initiating this thread.

  8. Yes, blind calls can be right, wrong or sideways. A sample size of 1 is always verysignificant. But watch out if the hair starts growing longer on your knuckles and you get a temptation to bay at the moon

What did the moon do the previous 4 billion+ years when there was no currency?

Maybe it is because the American flags on the moon left by NASA. Must definitely affect the US Dollar - NOT...

  9. It's also because the sky is blue, and not green.

I've wondered lately if the electronic exchanges should just be based on the moon. We'll just go back there when we want to retire, liquidate the infinite positions the moon has accumulated for us, and bingo, we're done. Since the moon is doing all the work here anyway and we're just the middlemen, why not base it where all the action is? Screw New York, the Moon is where it's at. :)

Does it matter how/why the call was made if it makes money? And no where am I claiming there is a cause/effect relationship between lunar cycles and market movements. I just find that when they correlate, crazy stuff happens. But even if there is, I'll put on Ozzy's Bark at the Moon, dance around like Michael Jackson in Thriller if it means I can keep pulling off monster trades.
