i said the market will fall slowly not fast . it fell fast that was the mistake sorry my fault did not explain properly
As i mentioned i am going to use VPA along with PA to make trades on 5 min, which because of the short time frame may be referred to as scalps. But i believe this joint method will give me entry at lows and exit at highs so it will also catch the bigger moves. how well i and this strategy does will be seen when the market opens or reopens. will not be posting live trades but maybe giving some reports on how this works. This will help traders focus on a similar technique to develop something of their own. it has taken a long time to prepare this strategy. i do believe in using many aspects of the market to make trading decisions and so i will be using all of the strategies outlined in this journal to make better trades. If you think i am jumping from one to another that is not correct. I am using as many as i can to get an idea of how market works because i feel just one strategy will not be appropriate for all market conditions and a lot of opportunities are missed by using a single idea
Many profitable traders and others may feel that volume is not necessary and it is possible to trade without it. For example if a small range bar follows a large range bar, it is obvious that is a sign of weakness. But if a small range bar also has an heightened activity as shown by the volume,it is extremely likely that this is a top-whether just a short term top-a correction- or a much deeper move will depend on amount of volume the psoition of the bar and market in the market cycle, the exact shape of the bar. If there is no high volume then it may be just a one bar halt
i am NOT using the classical wisdom that says that high volume is necessary for a move.....or that high volume leads price. It is never as simple as that .
I am under the impression that there are times when Volume gives very advantageous information that enable you to get an edge or early entry. the purpose is to identify such points by trading both of these strategies together and just see if they give the same signals.
