Just to make sure of something. If I am trading for a prop trading firm and I lose the firms money will I be held responsible for the losses? This is assuming I do not have to put money in upfront. Thanks.

  2. Not usually. Typically they get you with higher commisions to offset the risk.

  3. The firm will cut you off long before you could do any real damage.

They should have share and buying power restrictions in place so you shouldnt get to point where you can lose a lot of money quickly.
