i think the best trade follows two bars -up or down- not too big, small is ok ,which close at the high/low. wait for it then go aggressively in.
even worse than pure sim account it is a prop fund account. proof that what, @Overnight, so colorfully points out, is 100% correct. that i am an idiot.
Never let the Trolls get you down Padu. You seem to be a better person than them and you contribute to others a lot more. Plus, you're an entertainer..
i think the best trade follows two bars -up or down- not too big, small is ok ,which close at the high/low. wait for it then go aggressively in. like this and you will get this result. held both trades for one five min bar
i think the best trade follows two bars -up or down- not too big, small is ok ,which close at the high/low. brooks says one bar closing at it's high / low. in Brooks case, you have to be sure of context, to calculate probability, and he stresses that. Brooks is experienced, enough to manage the trade well; and if he does not get follow through, he just gets out. He does not get emotionally attached to the trade, like so many traders do
scaling in with a wide stop in a trading range environment which is very forgiving, even to me, is the only thing to do in a choppy market, which the ES is, by definition, in 5 min. and with ridiculously tight loss parameters that all prop funds have, it is the only way to trade. take really high probability scalps for 3-6 ticks. no other choice
if you need explaining about Brooks and do not want to read his books this is good start :see the full channel Trading Price Action Trends: Chapter 1&2 (The BPA Project) (youtube.com)
