Yes, your right. I just remembered now CME has FX futures. Problem is as I recall you don't have anywhere near the volume as in the FX markets and for that reason you would be better off just adding contracts in ES or trade CL as well. You can trade 10 contracts in CL without any problems getting filled at your stop limit (factor 0) order price. CL moves alot faster than ES though and I would only trade CL once I got my game down in ES. Same strategy works though. I've run it live on CL too.
Keeping this on the topic -- no need to digress to FX Spot vs. FX futures, which by the way is very liquid. SSS12 posted above and not sure you noticed it or that you have answered him. The post on the FX was not, I am sure, your response to sss12
my guess, sss12, is that GET will hold to his use of his "trade system" -- which no doubt, is more mechanical than discretionary and his win loss ratio is >98% ( But, certainly I am not clairvoyant so I speak out of turn.)
SSS12: Typically, half of my trades have a one point risk, one point gain and the other half are one point risk, two point gain (if you hang in there and don't mind the .50-.75 pullback). If I execute my strategy to the tee and I mean "to the tee", I have not seen any losers. But, nothing or nobody is perfect so factor one trade gone south out of 10. Still pretty amazing. It's taken me over a year and a half to come up with this strategy, reading charts morning, noon and night. I've even taken my computer to the bathroom and out at bars with me. I know it borders on OCD but that's the way I've been able to accomplish other impressive things in my life. You guys are probably smarter than me, but I make up for it with tons of "elbow grease".
