Trading the Daily Chart

    Point and Figure chart.
    Only look price and no time.

    Another bizarre way is to look at time only. Monitor the Low and after the Low, where is the High and how far is the High and Close.

    Whatever you do - don’t confine your charting to one singular timeframe.

    For example - 5 min, 60 min, Daily, Weekly overlays for ES or CL.

  4. I used to trade the daily chart for swing trading and would actually win pretty often. The problem was risk management and the placement of my stops. The way that I was trading, my RR was usually 2:1 (not good). To be completely honest, I also had no idea about multi-time frame analysis and refining entries.

    I run a daily scan right on the close and get results like this below to alert me for possible set ups:
