Trading Technologies (TT) Patent (Trademaven and Ninja Trader)

  1. Yep you're right I am a TT shareholder ( i have stated this in many posts before and probably should have here but i get tired of typing it) So clearly i have a bias though i try my best to keep it in check and just provide factual information or corrections when i see people are misinformed. This is often the case when it comes to what the patent actually covers for example.

I would not dispute your spin on things, I don't really know what patsystems intends to do, so you may be right. As long as they are not infringing i doubt TT really cares. The MD trader concept is valuable, but if pats thinks they don't really need it to sell screens - well good for them. They have a lot of screens out there they probably know what their customers want.

Nonetheless TT has demonstrated willingness to license their technology on multiple occasions which was my main point.

  2. So Pats will not use the static ladder? The new dynamic ladder called Reflector sucks.

  4. Check out RCG's ONYX platform. Not too bad. Hyrid of jtrader and bracket trader. I'll never understand why jtrader didn't add simple features like this.

  5. Thanks for the info. Are you using it? I've heard RCG's server is not good enough, that's why I don't have an account with them. I'm thinking about upgrading to CQG in the future, their commission is hard to beat for high volume traders.

So, for those of you who are using these ISVs', will you be moving over to TT or staying with the platforms with the minor changes..

    Curious to know...

refco & esignal have got a combined offering - you can place orders by clicking on the chart.

esignal@refco its called. never used it though - also gives a discount on the esignal subscription.

  10. Not using it but thinking about opening an acct to try it. Not sure what markets it supports. From the looks of their online demo there aren't many options (just ES, NQ).

If anyone else is using it I'd like to hear their feed back.
