NEWS JUST IN... TT have apparently decided to patent my walk.. as such when I walk I must now swagger differently.. my hips are not allowed to be static, this new swagger is likley to get me beaten up when strolling through the gangsta end of SoHo I hear they are going to file another claim on the monolpoly I have over my style of chewing..... where will this madness end? regards Paul
TT Files Patent on Missionary position... Owner says they thought of It first... Anybody using this position must pay a commission... <img src="http://www.enflow.com/p.gif">
There is a pilot program for patent applications to be examined publicly with anybody allowed to make contributions. A small step, but one in the right direction. The current situation is ridiculous. http://www.peertopatent.org/
A friend in London tells me a front end called Stella have the TT functionality and havent been sued (yet). May be this shows TT backing down?

What does this mean exactly? That we are already paying this .20rt through our broker? Or we'll owe it to TT or what? TT License Fees NinjaTrader has negotiated with TT transactional license fees for all futures, equities and options contracts starting January 1, 2006 as shown in the table below. These fees are ONLY applicable to NinjaTrader products that utilize the static SuperDOM trading screen. The details of how the transactions will be tracked and paid still needs to be finalized but ultimately each individual NinjaTrader subscriber will be responsible for their transactional charges. These are the lowest fees possible from Trading Technolgies.
The NInja Trader Dome, has an auto centering feature when the last price begins to disappear from view(hitting the extreme up or down edge of the Dome window)! Hence, why is NT still charging the user's .10 / side?!
Sure... Personaly Im struggling to see why as a Tradestation User (with auto centering) I would want to use ninja and add to what already is my personal battle with fees as a volume scalper and swing Trader... its not as if Tradestation is a dog of a product, or that Ninja has better charts (it doesnt) or that trading using a line drwn on a chart is any better than simply placing an order on the DOM subject to trendline analysis. If you trade well you can use any reasoanbly fast platform to make money. Making money is more about YOU and Strategy than platform and capability... its still down to the trader... not the tools, especially when Tradestation is the base from which you begin your assualt on the market.. Lets not kid ourselves traders. Paul (my background is IT trading in Software testing systems and Hardware Trading... I think I have a little grasp of this issue.. but not much and in my opinion software and technology is overated and has not really moved far in the last 5yrs apart from net video and mobile gps... even iPhone simply brings better mobile email music and net browse... but does the iPhone deliver any killer apps beyond that considering the hundreds of applications available from developers around the world for download? No it doesnt really and the competition isnt even able to replicate itafter a year of knowing about apple... see folks... tech is overrated, cut the hype in half.. TT is well overatted sorry).
