I've learned a lot from Chuck Le Beau's website at www.traderclub.com as I myself am a fairly mechanical trader. In the site, he has a simple long-only stock trading system which seems to backtest well during weak markets (http://traderclub.com/discus/messages/107/1571.html?FridayNovember220011107am). Has anyone here tried his system lately? It's a free system, by the way. The rules are on the link above.
A few years ago, Chuckie's followers and system purchasers were going to lynch him. His systems crashed badly. They looked to be nothing more than over-optimized junk. Damn near all of them. Stuck his customers with huge losses. Don't know how they are doing now, but just a FWIW. Good luck to all.
