This would be helpful if you provide more details of your needs as there is no best for everyone.

    • What you trade
    • Manual/Automated
    • Access to SMART or DMA or both
    • Scanners
    • News
    • What exchanges
Needs vary so much from person to person that you need to offer context for suggestions. At Lightspeed Trading, we offer 8 platforms for equities/options and more than that for futures.

It depends on your needs and preferred markets. What do you expect from "the best platform"?

On this page: https://optimusfutures.com/Futures-Trading-Platforms.php go to the help me pick a trading platform. Once your criteria has been chosen, we will recommend a trading platform based on your needs.

In our experience those who seek "the best" are beginners with limited experience, while more mature traders focus on execution. So what you need to to think about is this: What is your method, and what would be an ideal way to execute it. That would make your search way easier.

Trader style and preferences drives the definition of "best".

Traders who are more like data scientists or programmers like CloudQuant.com, especially if they need access to capital.

Futures traders who like a static ladder and spreading favor Trading Technologies.
Futures technical traders who favor charts and visual tools favor CQG.

Multi-asset class traders who favor broker tight integration with middle office features favor Fidessa.

Multi asset algorithm traders like flex trade and port ware.

Traders who favor news, communications and community favor Bloomberg.

Traders who favor their broker like the broker systems (RCG, Interactive Brokers, and Think or Swim.)

Traders who focus on options favor Options City.

However, there are hundreds of trading solutions. Most of them have unique value propositions.

Consider reposting your question after you figure out what is important for you as a trader.

    Best of luck!
