A few minutes into an interview about her book she was talking about trading breakouts on Biotech stocks, so refreshing to hear from a breakout trader that thrives in volatility instead of hiding from it like so many retail traders these days are doing - like trading only the SP500 & the need to hedge everything as if they were a conservative pension fund content with a single digit ROR.

Cracked up on the part about the on-line traders that brag about a trade they won, when in reality the largest earners on the floor never talked about their gains, only the losers did that. If you don't have it - flaunt it.

She obviously has her reasons and she’s made a boatload as a trader and entrepreneur, it’s not her first rodeo.

  3. What caught my attention is she saying that trend-following is dead. Unfortunately, she did not explain why trend-following is dead. Given her experience and achievements in the industry, what she says carry weight. If trend-following is not dead, it's at least half-dead today.

It's funny, I am listening to Kaufman's interview on the same site and he says the opposite.
I believe she explained that it's no longer as smooth(trendy?) as it used to be to the point that it's no longer a viable active trading strategy as far as risk/rewards. I think to say trend following is dead is like saying mean reversion always works.

What makes me laugh is that amazon gives a discount and free shipping. Linda wants top price plus $5 extra for shipping. hahahaha.

I am laughing because Linda is just like most American women today. They demand everything and are never grateful for anything. hahahaha.

No I think she is being mean to her fans. Greed is not feminine. but then American women are greedy. hahahaha.

I guess Linda needs that extra $5. she squeezed every penny out of every trade. hahaha.

she thinks that she deserves everything. and no one else deserves a penny. no wonder she was a winning trader. I wonder if she squeezed the printer and got the books for free. after all the printer did not write the book. HAHAHAHA.

Linda has damaged her reputation big time over her GREED. I have been her lifetime fan. but it has ended with her greed. I do not play adoring fan to greedy people. she needs to get her act together. She is a typical American woman. selfish greedy ego centric everything is for her. everyone else is a Deplorable. I bet she voted for Hillary. hahahaha. Hillary and Linda are now the ELITE.

@st.s, if I may make a suggestion ... Idea generation is something that would make an interesting topic/question for future discussions I think.

How do they come up with new ideas? Is it data, observation, literature, collaboration, etc.
