  1. Very interesting. This make Level 2 now totally worthless...with all of the spoofing and head faking going on.

  2. Here's the reviews:

I don't doubt this guys ability or technique, but I just want to know, what are his STATS ?
    1) % Wins (40, 60, 80 ?))
    2) Profit/Loss ratio (1.5:1, 2:1, ?)
    3) Average time in trade (10 minutes, 10 hours, ?)
    4) Average winner, Average Loser (% of total account)

No stats ? Then this IS B.S.
Gotta have stats in this business.
    Stats eliminate the B.S. possibility.

  4. so let me get this straight. if a guy posts video's of himself trading, and you get to see all trades, p/l, but he doesn't post stats anywhere afterwords it B.S. If a guy just gives you some numbers from who knows where then everything is perfect. believe what you see, not something someone tells you

  5. You are right on that. Anyone can make-up numbers.
Usually if there is a trade blotter that goes along, you can definitely confirm the stats. I guess you could pull a Bernie Madoff and create the trades after the fact.

I guess the only way to do this is with real, VERIFIED statements of trading then.

His videos are real. I traded with him for a year and a half. He typically posts the good, the bad and the ugly. If you watch enough of his trades you will observe a few where he suffers large intraday losses.

I remember one where he was down more than 10k only to come back to positive with a slight gain.

Statistics? Why don't you watch his videos and do your own statistics. I would say he is profitable on more than 90% of the days he trades. Watch carefully. He doesn't enter trades with large volume at the beginning, only after there is a clear direction established off the open. Therefore his losses tend to be small and his gains large.

Not sure why there are so many doubters. Do you think everyone loses money as a day trader?

  7. That's silly...he's got a trade blotter....just have him post it...or his monthly account statements.
Doubters ? Lack of transparency always brings doubt to those who are intelligent.

I don't need his statistics. I don't doubt him. What's the point? He clearly is doing these trades.

I guess asking for his trade blotter would put this to rest, but then what are the trading videos for? I have traded with him in real time and know what he is trading, where his entries were and where he exits. All seems rather approximate to the video that was reviewed after the morning trading sessions.

Really don't get your point. The videos are for training purposes. If I didn't trust the guy I wouldn't have traded for 18 months with him.

I no longer trade with him as my trading style and ability no longer match with his.

I you don't believe his videos are real then don't. I know they are and never thought to ask for a trading statement as it never crossed my mind.

Where is the lack of transparency? If you were "intelligent" I think you would accept comments by those who know him best. What is to be gained by putting up fake videos anyway. I never paid him any money and apart from receiving special commissions in exchange for mentoring, I am not aware he benefitted in any tangible way.

I guess if I came across the videos, as you did, I would have my doubts and think to ask for a deeper level of verification. Why don't you ask him for his trading stats instead of insinuating that the absence of such stats is tantamount to a fraud.

"Anyone can make up numbers". I'd like you to show me how to trade in real time and fake the outcome.

I don't know about stocks but for futures, I heard from someone else that you don't want to post your monthly statements unless you are a CTA otherwise you are opening yourself up for lawsuits.

Anyway don't be too quick to shot this one down...

I think they are different... the level 1 tape reading here is not about held bid/ask in level 2 tape reading. this is also not reading the specialist in other level 1 tape reading. It does not really serve a prediction function. You might even be hugely disappointed finding out it is not what you are looking for. However it fits well for the part of the whole that it is responsible.
