You failed to comprehend my statement. I tried to shorten it, here's the full ugly link (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us...mode-faq-851057d6-1ee9-b9e5-c30b-93baebeebc85). The first part of the link is what I posted earlier so clearly no attempt to subterfuge. You could have just googled the link and found the page... To call someone a "dishonest fuxx" over something like that reveals far more about you as a person than me. A happy, successful, fulfilled, and confident person would not react that way.
Both the gateway and TWs are applications made in java. So you can run it as soon as you have the jre installed. I use the gateway on Linux on a daily basis, one of the reason why I chose that broker.
Of course because a multiple of the world population runs on windows. And most people do very stupid things in life. Do you honestly believe that people who abuse alcohol, drugs, and have all other sort of commitment issues are responsible with the software they install on their machines? That is the number one culprit of security holes, not the operating system. I went to the KDE website just for giggles and it was amusing that the few apps they advertised that run well on their desktop integration are a little photo app and graphics related apps that even windows paint runs circles around. You need to look at the number of windows vs Linux users to understand why most serious enterprises don't bother with Linux based versions of their software applications.
Nowhere in that link does Ms state that a user should run a third party virus scanner because otherwise the system would be easily compromised. That was your initial claim and that's outright bullshit. And now you want to make it about me how I am seemingly not happy because I call out bullshit. You are way too invested in your OS, lol.
I would never use any US product for such sensitive tasks Especially not Cisco Reason: CALEA I'm using a European product: MikroTik with its RouterOS.
Cool, so no need for an emulator then. As said if that works for your use case then all the power to you, I merely pointed out and somewhat smirked when I read about all the claimed benefits of Linux and then see users debate over hundreds of pages how to resolve some basic configuration issues (askUbuntu, and unix stackexchange are the perhaps most frequented sites on the internet that deal with Linux related issues)...
KDE is not a Linux system, it is GUI environment, a desktop and a suite of application. It can actually run on windows. You cannot compare it to a OS.
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us...mode-faq-851057d6-1ee9-b9e5-c30b-93baebeebc85 " About Windows 11 in S mode Windows 11 in S mode is a version of Windows 11 that's streamlined for security and performance, while providing a familiar Windows experience. To increase security, it allows only apps from Microsoft Store, and requires Microsoft Edge for safe browsing. [...]" They (MS) finally admit it themselves: standard Windows is insecure as $hit! We Linux users knew it for a long time, man! Then MS writes also this in the Q/A section: I don't use an antivirus software on Linux, though I had used when I switched from Windows to Linux. I used only an on-demand (offline) AV scanner. Haven't run it for years now... It's not necessary if you use only verified software from the official repository of the Linux distribution. But it cannot hurt to run such a program occasionally to check all files on the system.
OT (Off Topic): Instead to think over Linux that got finally in the last 10 years all the merits which deserved and windows that since window7 is improved a lot (even because they have the best current CEO in the world), I would rather focus on the fact that we as trader are usually slave of Python a language that is born in a small weekend, and that is absolutely inefficient as performance, and uses syntactic constructs really old.
