  1. How'd that work out for you Jack ?

I don't base trades on Elliott wave but sometimes it's helpful to get a sense of direction. Obviously not today though

I meant I just got home, not in the market, sorry lol. I most likely would've taken that trade though and moved my stop near the previous resistance area - 87-88ish. So it would've been a 5 point gain or so. Lower high, resistance at the trendline, and breaking down through the ma is why I thought it looked good, I don't really study Elliott Waves.

edit* what kept you out, out of curiosity?

  3. Trying to watch a lot more and trade a lot less.. Either long in current trend or fade only if serious level failure... Was looking for long 2220 area.. will consider short on failure of 2255 to 2265 area.. otherwise no trading.

  4. hey jack, just saw your edit. i didn't take any short at the B high if that's what your talking about. PA had been rather volatile and whippy. My friday trades are not shown on the 5 minute chart i posted.

  5. Nasdaq +60 pts. I have a problem with these rocket off the open moves. I short too soon and always miss the pullbacks for longs.

Semi holiday today too so will play cautious and patient.

  6. You just have to let them go as they are rare.. a sign of serious strength for sure as Friday's doji was "supposed" to be a top.
