  2. Every one of my trades today were long, not a single short, but I mucked it up in the early morning.

  4. apologies: total PnL (papertrading) was down 6 ES handles. if you add it up, it was down 5.75; I kicked out one of the "winners" because it was due to a fat finger.

  7. flipped my strategy.

had a string (5 or so) of 3 point pukes this morning. so now i'm,

    -taking a 3 point winner
    -puking a 5 point loser

will post results at day's end.

    cheers.

  8. You think one day was enough to assess the prior ratio? how many types of days had you exposed it to before yesterday? "Usually" eating less and puking more is a wasting journey.. Me thinks yesterday's ratio was fine...
Not trading today or tomorrow.. far behind on work.

  9. yesterday's ratio (taking 5, puking 3), was almost a 100% failure rate. today's ratio (taking 3, puking 5), is (and i'm eyeballing here), is around a 75% success ratio.

generally, i'd "backtest" something like this, except i'm trying to trade based on gut feel (however I'm pretty certain my gut feel resembles Bollinger bands). literally, looking at the chart and saying, "spooz feel high" and selling them.
