  1. Instynct, I was also having a bad day until the end. That midday chop was very deceiving to me. +11 for day

  2. The morning triangle really too me. I know better than to keep playing a triangle after a looser up and a looser down. But I made several more fake out trades. Got lucky on finally getting the breakout, so a be day. Poor trading in general though.

  3. Breakeven today.

Bmw, most of your losses today were due to psychological reasons no doubt. Its good that you picked up a nice chunk of the down move but the reality is that this is nothing new to you, you've been here before. Its all part of this crazy business. Pull up a graph of your equity curve for last six months and I'm sure it is uptrending like a raging bull market.

I'm reverting back to some old habits myself, but this too shall pass sooner rather than later. The only reason why I'm still around trading after struggling for the last 5 yrs is because I'm too stubborn to give up. For some reason I've always found a way to get back up even after the most devastating losses. I'll be dead before I become another daytrader statistic.

  4. DepthTrade

    DepthTrade

What is the average spread on NQ during the USA session?
Can it trade with zero spread?

What platform do you recommend and at what balance.

    thank you.
    :)

  5. I'm not sure I understand your spread question.

I use ninjatrader through mirus futures. 5k per contract should be sufficient, but the minimum to open an account is 2500 I believe.

  10. You don't want to anticipate a DB holding in an obvious down market bias. Instead, you should play against it by selling the pops.

Looks like the 60min/daily chart S/R of 73.75 is holding. Look at how they bought it just above this level, shows there is alot of interest for this level to hold. But if they are wrong and this level breaks by the time lunch is over, we can easily see 2360 (next level on the 60 min).

+10 so far for me, looking to see how this action unfolds during lunch.
