it's only 1 trade. yes, i lost $ on it, no big deal didn't impact my acct in least. had a flush draw that didn't work, only a "bet" of many. when you have four clubs you got to play it out. doesn't ALWAYS work, does it? move on, play next hand dealt you may be too emotional to be a good poker player, maybe?
Someone else has to back me up on this: The protagonist is long and looking for a bounce. He calls out for it. Bounce! Bounce! His calls go unheeded. The market shits on the living room rug like an untrained labrador and closes early. The audience waits in suspense.... Then it's just on to the next one like nothing happened. WTF? No resolution, no nothing. At the end of the day we don't care if you win or lose. It's the story that we are interested in. And when the story has holes, it ruins the whole experience.
hey, i'm still holding this short 81 http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=210249&perpage=6&pagenumber=305 in my acct. i don't see you asking about that?
Agree. Story is king. If you show a gun in the first act it better go off in the third. I hope the protag makes some $$$$ but the reader would like a little drama too : )
ok, agreed. i really didn't think anyone was interested..the Op has abandoned his thread..no one else posts here anymore but me. i'll try to keep the calls tight from now on that i know a few are hanging on my every phucking word. but don't try to play my hand..play your own hand.
I like how you have no market bias. short or long - whatever looks good to you. But not looking to piggyback. Got my own set ups i'm trying to master and i think you're more of a scalper than I. Good trading to you.
Busy morning for me so far and win rate was lower than normal. Here is a summary for my trades this morning:
