If i recall, the timeline for the auto-industry conversion was about 25 years. If the prediction was made 10 years ago, there's another 15 years to go. Do you think it's possible? And they did say there will be mega geo based events. Headlines will be every more shocking. And yet, they've said that, because the infrastructure for doing business is mature, all we need is a few good reasons, even if only psychological reasons (perceptions), to get into the next big bull.
Reminds me of a website called "TheologyWeb". They have two forums for stuff like that. One of em is called "Psych Ward". Those forums won't appear to the unsubscribed public. It's like banishment. It's where the moderators can send threads when they don't like the theology. Yes, these are Christians making judgments about what is, or what is not crazy! All i can say is, if this world were run like they run that web site...if they had the power to do it...you'd better start praying! I think Baron is better than that!
Good one! I'm just here talking about two beings that came from the future to have a series of chats with a guy who was trying to make a living trading, starting back in about 1991. About 17 visits over 9 years before he put out his first book of transcripts (from a voice activated recorder in his den). They'd show up out of thin air and sit on his couch. When they were done talking, they'd just vanish into thin air. That's what I'M talkin bout!
From what's been disclosed, it sounds like you could just wait for the next big dip - it should be obvious - and be a buyer every time the market crossed up over a moving average. But there are other statistics you may be able to trade. For example, did you know that on a month-per-month basis, there will be more up months than down months, even if the market is flat for ten years like we had last decade? Yes, 63% up during that time. You could apply vertical bull credit spreads to that, each with one month to expiration. Equal upside potential to downside risk.
Good1, Do you believe in free will? If time has already happened, then that would mean we don't have free will correct me if I'm wrong. I'm all about free will so I have a hard time believing it.
Before i answer, i should say something about my writing style. When i capitalize a word, it means i'm referring to a Being with those attributes. I want to say that Freedom is the Truth, meaning, we are free. However, there's this thing i'll call *fate* which seems to intervene. It would appear that all the world is a stage, and we are merely actors reciting our lines. But what i'd like to say about that, is, we have the free will to be the actor on the world stage, or we can transcend the world stage. Once upon the world stage, there is very little leeway. What we have, instead, are parallel worlds within this one world within what im calling *imagination*. These worlds can be compared to a multiplex theater. Nowadays they might have ten theaters in a single multiplex cinema. And each theater is showing a movie that's already been scripted and made. So there is no changing it. As such, the actors have no free will. But, if we no longer like the movie, we can walk out, and walk into another theater to watch another film. In this way, we can negotiate our way out through better and better scripts. If we really don't want to see a world where there is a theater-of-war, there's a chance we will shift into another theater/world that looks the same, but has a different outcome. So to summarize, there isn't any free will within imagination except to exit the theater, and finally to exit the multiplex (matrix/imagination). Our situation get's better and better as we, deep down, find the will to exit each theater, and finally, to flip the switch that turns on the lights completely. Beyond imagination Freedom is really free. Imagination shows us that we are free to experience un-freedom...and to escape (or else Freedom would not be the Truth). Does that answer it?
So you would be correct about that, except that we can improve our experiences by finding the will to exit the dark/darkest theaters of war. I use deja-vu experiences to remind me just how little free-will there is within each theater. We are indeed reciting lines. And we feel as though they are spontaneous and original. I'm willing to believe that nothing in time is spontaneous and original. Yes. It's a bit of a downer. I'd rather know the truth. Fortunately, we can recite lines in better and better scripts, until we find the will to exit the multiplex cinema-plex (matrix). Once back in the light of day (outside the multiplex) we should be re-acquainted with what free-will really means. Reality is really F/free.
