Trading on chains - thoughts sought

  1. I assume you work in a fund manager which does not allow you to invest in individual stocks without a proper compliance procedure in place - and you are worried if you can make money with the instruments you named.

    With "investor" i ment outside investor - the organization that hands your company money in exchange for fees. I understood you ment that if such company strategy would be an issue for a potential institutional investor. A clear misunderstanding - I think I was misled by the word "professional" in the first paragraph :D :D

  2. They have a compliance department and everything that comes with it. This is standard practice across Big Finance Corps apparently. They just shut the doors to their employees to trade to reduce risk of things like insider trading, reputation damages, regulator fines and what not.
