trading on a breakout

  10. Correct. Author; not trader.

    My original comment is still valid as breakout strategies would be instrument dependent and even within one single instrument you can have various timeframes, i.e., breakouts on a 1-minute time frame would probably be different than breakouts on the daily or monthly time frame.

    So, simply pulling up some general statistics some author may have produced some time in the late 90s seems very gullible and misinformed.

    I have plenty of relevant market research on my private computer. And it will stay private. :)
