Any inputs on trading news releases using currency futures as instrument ?
I,ve read in one of the searches, that account funds are secured
against bankrupcy of the firm, is that correct with all firms US based or otherwise ?
Do you experience widening spread & slippage during high volatility ?
My forex trading with a MM (OANDA) has been a good expirience.
But, as i'm becoming profitable & my trading style is closer to scalping i think it wise to look for alternatives.
Any suggestions on brokers etc ?
    Thank you in advance.

Hi fighter, trading news releases in forex i use 1 min charts,
cnbc for the number (allthough thats not always important),
& immediate levels of support & resistance.
Slippage means that your market order gets filled at a higher/lower range than normal because price is moving too fast.
You can choose the range of your market order, but it would never get filled in a fast moving market.
Hope that explains it & thank you for your reply.
