Duff, I generally agree with you, but also wouldn't mind it if Chartwiz and similar promoters were up here, as long as any promotion they do is limited to certain threads. (Chartwiz: Why don't you help us out in this regard and start a new thread that has more specific title tied to what you are up to. ET: Maybe we need a new section for discussing specific trading sites, in which promoters for those sites are welcomed.) When it comes to trading strategies, it seems unrealistic to expect others to give away their best ideas for free. So every such post, whether commercial or not, is suspect in that regard, and I guess I would prefer seeing more posts than less. For other things, like broker and trading mechanics, the info up here is much more reliable (and should be).
yes.. and what is says is that its a take it or leave it proposition.. they arent frigging burger king.. you get it their way or you dont get it.. got it? ok.. so he isnt a nice guy then? what exactly is your point? he wont give you what you want and so that makes him a jerk? grow up.. i honestly think you should talk to a psych about the death of your dog.. it seems that you may be having some trust/control issues.. the apartment comment is up to your usual rudeness.. perhaps Chris is managing money, which is not the same as having a huge account.. also, what makes you think thats his only home? did you stop to consider that maybe he had a divorce or something and the wife lives in the big home?.. or maybe he is in transition.. most wealthy people are extremely frugal.. why does he need a big home? to impress you? honestly, i dont think chris is playing hard to get.. you really arent his type.. oh.. now you need assurances.. see, i told you.. its that damn dog thats got you screwed in the head.. better put down abandonment issues as well.. c'mon.. look.. once chris has participated on this board for a few months, it will be obvious to everyone if he knows what he is doing or not.. the man isnt talking rocket science.. his ideas are simple to verify.. why not verify them with your own backtesting and prove him wrong.. that would be a much better service to the readers of this board than bitching, moaning and finger pointing..

I am not offended by anything you said in your post, we are all entitled to our views and to phrase them in the way we think makes the most impact. I agree completely with the fight fire with fire comment. That's what I think I have been doing. The appartment comment may have been a cheap shot, but remember any vendor has the opportunity to avoid oblique references to their credibility by simple posting ongoing audited trading results as I suggested. That would shut me up in an instant.
I peaked in at the chat room. Out to the trades I saw and I took the results seemed to be mixed. Chartwiz did not lose much when he was wrong and he posted a few nice trades. I take a lot of trades and some of them I took based on my own entries. I feel I may have been slightly profitable on just his style but I can not say for sure. By the way the market was choppy and they said so. I may turn out to be too cheap to pay for the room. But let me say this. I watched his style and read his materials (I was already familar with LBR type trades.) I have caught a few nice trades on my own using Chartwiz setups. Normally, I scalp listed stocks. It has been a rather poor headache vs reward market for that stlye. I used Chris's style today on my own and I have had a good day. So the time Chris spent showing his style has been very good for me whether it makes me more succesful only time will tell. But the education was well worth the time I have put in. I hope this message is some consolation for Chartwiz's time.
In the interest of fariness I should also say that I also looked at the service Van Tharp is setting up. Brad trades a similar style to chart wiz only he seems to take more trades. I have the same review of that service. And DR who is part of that service is a great guy. I have no financial stake in any of these services, I just do not want to be too much of a mooch.
