Trading Mentor/Coach wanted!!

  1. Pretty cool Nihaba. I expected you to throw some counterpunches. It would be a waste of time, of course.

  2. Typical ET. Nobody even asked him WHAT he wanted to trade, as if all trading were the same. Or if he actually had any money to trade WITH.

SOS, if you're still reading, I suggest you start a thread called "Teach Me to Trade" (sounds like the infomercial, hahaha!).

Ask a series of trenchant questions (and expect cutting answers back, if you'll pardon the pun). I would start with "Should I trade at all?", expecting the question back "Why do you WANT to trade?"

This could be followed by "What should I trade?"

The idea being that studies have shown that the larger the group you ask a question of, the closer the collective answer is to being right. Great good fun for all, I should think.

  3. I just read something on that, the wisdom of group thinking. One test was they asked 200 people to guess how many jellybeans were in a jar. They found that the average of the whole group was closer to the correct number then any one individual of that group.

  4. What if you are a contrarian trader, then you will tend to ignore the group average and really be screwed....

  5. As many of us know now (See thread titled "steve46")

in addition to the "parlor tricks" you "picked up" copyrighted material from Linda's room that was marketed here for $6,000 per copy to newbies.

So it seems ingracious of you to say "don't waste your time"

Personally I have found LInda's site to be valuable IF you have a reasonably good basis to work from. For me the value was watching a successful trader prepare and trade day after day.

In addition, after each day's trading she provides some form of education for traders, sometimes including interviews with other good traders. Although it has been a few years, I still remember an after hours interview with Dr. Brent Steenbarger that helps me to this day.

As usual Samson likes to see his comments in print, but doesn't care to think much about the content. Blah, blah, blah

    Good luck folks

  6. LOL

Well seeing that you are a LBR kiss A## and your real reasoning for posting lies about me in the first place was to just promote LBR it doesn't suprise me that your using this oppertunity to pump her room again.

Is this the best a "so called" retired private fund manager can offer ?

Oh sorry that's right you also trade ONE contract of no_pm_please's system too.

    Please go TROLL somewhere else.

  7. One nice thing about slapping you around here is that you arent too smart

You continue to make the mistake of refering to my comments as lies. Then I simply refer people to this thread:

    http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=60755

As more ET members read about you, they learn to ignore your commentary, and you kind of cut off whatever stream of revenue you used to have preying on newbies.

Lets see, that thread has more than 3,000 views now. So a good chunk of ET membership is pretty much out of bounds for you now isn't it?:D

As always, I am lovin this.

  8. Chase the BONE doggy ....

Does this sound like you at all?

Notice the four obvious key points about you.

    Lying
    Spread rumours
    Attacking regulars
    Makes self savior

  9. Hello all,

First time poster that i am

I have developed a good system to track the market in Excel, and now i want it written into a program so it can not be copied. That way, i can write a book about my trading system or teach classes. Any guesses as to how much it costs and how to find helps doing that.

I do not mind showing someone how i trade. Two-week one on one tutoring for two grands, only they live in the area and are willing to spend.
