Do you think intelligence has something to do with successful trading? Why don't we open a company and go to Harvard or MIT and hire the A+ students, then we will make a lot of money together. In my opinion, I don't think intelligence has something to do with successful trading, it's more related to psychology, the trader's emotions face to win and lose.
thats true, a lot of programs take u on a long ride to somewhere... I would recommend checking out this site www.jmdttw.com and see what you guys think...any feedback would be appreciated. thanks
Please to meet you Samson and bravo I am also coming from the same background as you are. Lost money in useless courses, until I did what you recommend. NO TRADING METHOD WILL WORK WONDERS FOR ANY @ PERSONS. THEY DEVELOP A SYSTEM AROUND THEIR PERSONALITY> period. Oh I started a thread, " trading is for dumb people" Boy did the ET's whipped my ass! All I said was simplicity is very effective. Was nice meeting you.
Hi, I see this is an old thread but I have recently started mentoring. I'm not promising the sun, moon and stars but I have developed a very simple intraday system for trading the indicies that works consistently if executed correctly.
And this had to be your 'virgin' post....!! That's nice... ...and now for some proof...something simple...last 3 months broker statements would be a good kicker... And what are you offering... NiN
Agreed, always ask for some real live account statements- fairly recent and not hypothetical (made up) results about how they can make 200 pips per day 'risk free' etc. You need to see some real evidence that they can make money trading.. even if it is only a few weeks of statements it is essential. Talk is cheap in this game. Judge mentors by their actions not only their words.
I don't think posting accounts proves anything as it has been previously discussed just how simple it is to edit broker statements. It is also a fact that some great mentors are not such great traders as they can be technically gifted and know all the theory but have the wrong character for trading. Not everyone is cut out to be a trader.... However I do possess both the mental and technical skill to both trade and mentor. I'm also in the process of setting up a blog where my calls can be followed live each day. More on that to come. What I have is a system that will give enough of an edge to make each week. The system is for indices only and uses mostly price with limited use of indicators. The system will not guarantee profits as 95% of traders do not loose money due to bad systems but due to bad execution of their system. I can only help so much in this department, I can give advice on money management and trading psychology but a trader really has to put in the work themselves and recognise it is the single most important aspect of trading.
Old thread, but my post maybe helpful to seeking individuals, since I was seeking myself for years. Mentor? As far as over the years one person is striking. "Bone"
