Trading made simple

  1. The courage? LOL. Why would I be scared of ET? I will post it shortly. I'm in the middle of trade right now so you're gonna have to give me a few min's.

  2. As requested. 4 triggers, 2 wins, 2 losses. Winners exceed losers and winning contract numbers exceed losing contract numbers. I had to stop out (they were trade out exits -- stops were parked below off screen) on the first 2 trades for reasons that would take too long to explain but obviously, with the advantage of highsight, it was the wrong thing to do.

ask for a screenshot of the trades and you get a screenshot of a chart with an explanation of where the trades took place...

    You gotta love it.

  4. PTF -

Thanks for the chart. I thought you said you really only focus on the first hour of trading. Yet, today, you didn't take any trades during that first hour, and traded in the middle of the day.

    Any reason for this deviation?

Nice trading by the way. Good to see winners exceed the losers.

  5. The setup was just different. The employment gap down changed the setup on my charts so there wasn't any definable level of support to buy on. What I'm buying on today is a support level that extends out a few days.

  6. DSQ, you're a jackass. I posted exactly what you asked for. Hell, why don't we just call up PWC and get an audit so we can post it on ET. Go through my posts you clown. I posted a statement not long ago with actual data and account number (partially blocked out).

  7. Here you go screwball. This kinda makes your 300 shares look like you should be on a playground somewhere.

  8. This is absolutely HILLARIOUS. You are scalping for pennies with 300 and 250 shares and you call yourself a trader? I'm laughing my ass off here. You actually make a living off THIS? Absolutely Hillarious!

  9. I understand you are not interested and no harm, no foul. I have shown this method to a number of people who have PM'd me and many of them have put it to good use. I've never come on ET asking for a dime in return for what I've shown. It's not often you find someone on a public board sharing trading ideas that actually turn profits. Just don't go DSQ on me.

Although I find it a coincidence that today is a perfect day to utilize this strat, I do have a serious q for you.

In determining your stops, are they based on a stat analysis of price movement, a dollar loss, or trendline etc?

And how did this work yesterday?

The reason I ask is that I tried using a stat analysis approach for stops last year, and it worked well until the first if this year. The strat seriously tried to take my account a few times early this year because of "Up 400 dow points one day, and Down 400 the next" kinds of scenarios.

Therefore I abandoned the strat altogether and have been concentrating on bread and butter techniques. But it seems as though it has some serious potential over the long run.

    Thx
