Don't wait for the cftc approval, change your residency!

How does the exchange work? Is it first in first out or do market makers have priority?

    TGM,

it is in the pipeline. I'm hearing Jan/Feb but I also heard that last year.

    just21,
    access is based upon residency.
175 is currently the highest strike and it was added today.

if we offer the index price right now, you would have to pay for stock data.

there are market makers, trades are novated strictly by price time priority.

Pity about the index value as that means no model price and deltas. If the 175 strike was added today, is that why there is no volume but there is last size? This is the only options market I have seen where I cannot make a better price. Guess I will just have to hit the bid.

the index price might come at a later date, let's see. as for the volume on the 175. we'll have to look into it. Don't be deceived by the 1000 up markets one tick wide. The market can move very fast and you can easily be run over.

I got the volume on the 175 now, thanks. How about closing/last prices when the market is shut? Other option markets in TWS have this. Why are there not more otm strikes above 175 as that is only roughly 5% from the futures value? The 175 calls did 665,230 lots, wouldn't that indicate interest in higher strikes?

perhaps it would but we add strikes as the exchange lists them. expiration is also < 2 weeks away.

The volume has disappeared and the closing prices have appeared just before the market opens.
