By having the positioning of the portfolio sized by volatility, the entry of orders cannot be automated, since depending on the day and the volatility of the market, the number of contracts will vary. The final order, with the exact number of contracts, is entered by hand. The signal is given to us by an algorithm, the positioning by another, and we as trades place the order at the corresponding expiration date.
