Wow, crude oil took a dive yesterday when I was sleeping. If I was awake I would have added 1 contract but too late for that. Long view still stands IMO let's see. -51 ticks now
Dude just get a job, and trade on the side. One of my best systems and it was #1 on C2 still had 4 months of loss. If I was not making money in other ways, that would have sucked. Plus I was still at least getting subscriber money. I am sure I make more money per hour from my job than 99% of the people on this website do on trading. Also lots less stress if you making money from multiple sources. Finally you are not a top futures trader and you never were, time to take a hard look in the mirror and change your life before u kill yourself.
You mentioned in posting #1 that you were ok over the past few months. But the way you trade is really terrifying. Years ago, when I started doing my full-time day trading, I did thousands and thousands of horrific and terrible trading mistakes too.
@oraclewizard77 I merely started this journal... Okay so with 1-2 Nasdaq contracts and max 2-4 for other symbols on a good month I'm able to make $30,000, on a bad month $3000, on a loser month -$5,000~10,000. If you are happy to pay me $20,000 a month I will come work for you. Currently I have no job offering that will pay me that much and trading is the only way for me to earn that much. Btw, I do feel the anger in your post. What made you so angry today?
Yeah I agree this one was bad, but I was prepared for a swing if it went otherwise, didn't expect a dive like that. Would have been good to add a contract when it recovered the 70.00. Anyways Max, so far I understand you don't like the way I trade, but it's been 2 days? lol I am enjoying this journal so if you give it 2 months and give me an objective judgement then I would appreciate it.
crude oil (and copper and gold and Natural gas) is very good for day trading because there is more than enough volatility. Based on the way you trade, you can earn $500, $1000 or more per day. When you swing trade, that +ve $1000 (on paper) might become actual -ve $1000. I have given you an objective judgment on your previous NQ trade.
Keeping the same target, price recovered the entry price but this is a bad trade. Perfect timing for contract adding would have been when it recovered the 70.00 price.
