I had just opened my long postion about 7 minutes prior to the Naz's move and KLAC had significantly gapped down before I took the trade. KLAC moved against me .09 at most during the Naz decline which didn't warrant closing the position. The semis and KLAC were at or near day lows and I was willing to risk more than .09 on the trade plus I felt that KLAC would bounce off those lows and quickly gap up once the Naz stabled out. I was closely watching Naz futures but they didn't move enough to convince me to close the position.

I use Q-charts plus the current charting software on my trading platform. I'm looking at a 5 min. 1 day, 3 min 1 day and 1 min 1 day plus indicators. I use adjusted MAs but mainly focus on chart patterns and formations.
