I have decided to no longer post my trades, since it requires too much time and takes away from trading opportunities.I wanted to try it out to see what it's like and to see what seanote goes through everyday.I gave a view on how i trade ,and hopefully many others will be able to do well in their endeavor. The results that were shown yesterday are pretty typical of my daily profits, give or take a couple thousand. Some things that i do that i think will keep me here in the long run are: 1)if you're a daytrader,NEVER hold overnight;plenty of opportunities throughout the day, without having to deal with overnight risk 2)having an idea where your exit is before you even initiate the trade 3)setting a stop loss 4)not being greedy;get out when you can and not when everyone else is fighting to bail out once it is proven that the trend has reversed 5)not looking back after getting out of a profitable trade and it continues higher(if you were long) or lower(if you were short);this will happen and rarely expect to buy the exact bottom and sell the exact top 6)buy strong stocks when the futures start to rally 7)short weak stocks when the futures start to sell off 8)know that if it should be going higher and it doesn't,chances are that it's going lower;once the futures start to sell of,this stock would be the first stock that i'd look to short 9)know that if it should be going lower and it doesn't,chances are that it's going higher;once the futures start to rally, this stock would be the first stock i'd look to go long 10)only watch a few stocks at a time
hope it's okay to post some of my stuff...sold klac at 41.00 for position trade. still long the july 90 nvls puts... would appreciate feedback if anyone has time.. thanks,
What happened to Seanote? Wondered if you are still long JDSU. I'm holding from an avge of 2.68. Turning into a good trade. Cheers
Oh and 1 more lesson, remember that girls are like stocks;get as most as you can out of them, and dump em as soon as they start not acting right.
Vinny, I like your style. Good solid stuff, obviously you know what you're doing. I totally agree with your approach. You made a good replacement for Seanote.
