If you bought his course and couldn't learn how to day trade profitably the problem is you, not the course.
Nice so from taking or not my position in Shell now I have to think about the binary decision of buying these f..ancy books to do day trading although I speak as a wannabe value investor.
i love trading but honestly after passing a long time in there still i am scary when trading on news. i did huge loss during news in my career.
If your investors are Simmons.... and Steinhardt, you are in good company. Please stick around and share some of your wisdoms. Some of us (me included) are really scare these days and need coaching. Have a good trading day.
thank you guys for the warm welcome in this addictive forum. A lot to learn for me, but after all this beta I am starting to find more and more fascinating the hours behind my beloved chess board, where I am responsible for 101% of my actions, that following the absolute casualty of this market period. I want to achieve freedom from too many news, freedom from price makers, freedom from basic passions, and legislation hysteria. My biggest takeaways this month is that in these volatile times is better a substantial position in three under rated stocks after extensive study, that you gonna monitor 24/7 with a plan b to minimize losses with option/swap/commodities hedging strategies, supported by a fixed income portfolio bigger than ever praying the FED to behave well. Happy trading everyone
I agree. I spent over a year following AL Brooks in his trading room (which, by the way, I just discovered today that he has cut back to 4 days per week). I learned so much about price action that it has become a major part of my semi-automated approach to trading, especially in the type of sideways markets we have had the last few days. AlI am using automation as the filter for trade selection, but the whole time I am remembering all the things Brooks has said, especially about trading ranges. I have been using techniques I learned from Brooks, and that cannot be coded into software programs. I believe most systems traders are at a disadvantage if they don't understand price action. I am not Brooks, and I have recognized that I can't purely trade as a rules-based discretionary price action trader, but it has become a good portion of how I trade.
