    Hi CL,

I have not waded through all this thread but I probably will.
If I have the gist of it, you are saying that it takes certain skills and mindset to successfully start up a company and it takes certain skills and mindset to succeed at trading but they are not the same ... in fact they quite different.

    I totally agree.

This in no way makes me correct, but I sometimes wonder when people disagree with this difference whether they are fully prepared to leave one world and enter another.

To leave a world based on interaction and communication and enter a world based on solo performance and self appraisal is beyond the capacity of most people. Just trying to imagine the different skill set required will take people outside themselves.

I am talking of the Retail Trader here, not a member of a Trading Crew.

The lengthy learning curve is set by the amount of time it takes Traders to acquire self realization and make the necessary changes.
It can be several years, but in the majority of cases, it is never.
