Trading is extremely rewarding, but do you really think its forever

  1. i think more realistic is day trading coming to an end in some way or at least becoming much more restrictive. i don't know how but that is somewhat realistic?

no way, if I buy and change my mind, I must have the right to sell, and so lets say I do this every day because I am a flip flopper

  3. Do we talk about the US closing their Wall Street (not impossible considering the PPT nationalizing the sp500 step for step) or do we talk about communism all over the world?

  4. Dear Mr Genije:

Why is the stock market going to close?
Why is Capitalism NOT forever? Has it ever stopped? Has it not always existed somewhere in the world?
You should really be concerned that YOUR trading successes will surely come to a close soon, since you are clearly so HIGH on YOURSELF.

'Forever' as far as im concerned is the rest of my life.

I dont see the game exhausting itself in the next fifty years.

Quite the opposite trading volumes in all markets are going up not down... And new markets are coming online all over the world..

Well, we've had stock and futures market for some 400 years now.

I guess a return to the Dark Ages is possible, but doubt it'll be in my lifetime.

And that's about as far in the future as I care about for my own professional life ;)

  9. Yes, you're right. It is ludicrous. At least you have the good sense to admit it right up front. I notice you said that capitalism is not forever. When I first read your post, I knew instinctively that you're a socialist/Communist. This is a political statement.

Interestingly, you are afraid to tell us exactly why you think the stock markets will close. I think that's very significant. I think it's because you would have to reveal a little too much about your politics, right?

Capitalism is Darwinism. Both are the natural way of things. Until there evolves a free source of unlimited, non-polluting power, capitalism will exist, and even that probably won't derail it.

This is a political post pure and simple. This thread belongs in P & R.

I shall attempt to be more humble.......NOT (Borat style)

Well see here is the problem you are not getting. Did Stock market always exist, YES in the sense that its a market for produce right

BUT no in the sense that I can sit and make money from my home. Anyone who guarantees me what the future will be like is a fool in my books, so knock yourself out guys
