Yes RN, comments in other threads as well have confirmed for me that MrCharts does in fact have something worthwhile to say. Often presenting concepts that both you and I would be very familiar with and that we know to be on the right track!

  2. All is never as it seems:)

It is a pity that no one took me up on the chART of Deception, for that had the potential to show some real locks and keys, but what will be will be!

I forecast that no more than 3 people will gain any real value from this thread, but hopefully I will be wrong?

If we were to agree on all matters, then the joy of discovery would be gone, and without the joy of discovery nothing new will be discovered.

I am deadly serious about Jack btw, and I think behind it all he is a genuine chap, but due to the monkeys ranting and raving he will not let loose and drop his guard a bit.

As usual, only time will tell.

Most newbies make the big mistake of looking for a mentor, when what they really should be looking for is a mentalist.

The content of what jack says - has value

The context leaves something to be desired – to me

But then that is only the opinion of one dumbass redneck - not worth much really

I try to KISS as much as possible in all matters

eta - As far as the chART of Deception - it ain't dead till we all are - no??

  4. The only thing I really know is that I know nothing at all.

However, I have done some really stupid things over the years, that, if an astute trader can understand why I done so, can avoid doing the same things.

My biggest regret is that I did not change my attitude many years ago, for it kept me in the dark hole for many years, and only when I humbled myself and accepted that I was no more than a monkey with a few bananas, did I start to see what was really going on around me.

But hey, this is not about me, this is about helping others to help themselves, and in return, I know that I will then help myself, as the Laws are universal.

    Thank You btw,

A kind word never goes astray.

  5. Well RN, as I mentioned Jack has every opportunity to put things straight.

I will admit that I did not read a good deal of his posts, but from the few I read there appears to be some truth in the words, and to me, if truth is there, then it should be known to be so.

But again, only time will tell, and only Jack himself can do what he must do.

I think that is enough about Jack for now, as I do not like talking behind someones back, better if he was here responding - just mho of course.

As for the chArt of Deception, well, maybe you are right?

I had planned to bury it, but since I am officially now a GurUilla maybe I can resurrect it:D

If memory serves the stock you traded last week lost a few times

Possibly were the trades – lacking in context

  9. They were lacking in everything that is required in order to keep the no. of losers at the minimum.

Whilst the approach to jumping on leaders and laggers can be profitable, it can still catch out the savvy trader as he/she is not limiting the factors that prevent losing.

The chart is of course the main component, but to rely of chart reading alone is like having a finger missing, and we can all imagine how cumbersome that might be!

Busy week ahead, but we will try and finish off the 10 trades and then discuss why the results were as they will be.

Trading is a mugs game really, but only if you let it be so.

Every successful outcome is dependent on adequate planning, serious consideration before action is taken, and swiftness in implementing the required actions - anything else falls into the chance category.
