There is no one way to do just about anything and that includes trading. I agree that there is no better (but not the only) experience than a live trade. And I think that one can learn more from a losing trade than a winning one.

Of course my last sentence doesn't apply to most on this board.

  2. Cool, finally an honest member...
Yes, you are correct, trading is a fools game absent very distinct abilities to contruct powerful algo's .

In essence remember that most guys replying here are here because they are still searching, thus, ignore the mob "profitable" traders, if they were profitable they would not comment, or they would not be here.(Yes yes yes what am I doing here and all that...).

    Here is what you do:
Drop all you know, and take a few C# courses, math courses, sharpen your algo skills and start to play around with ideas .
Drop trading for six months and sharpen your intellect by taking a few economics classes and again learn the basics of programming.
After all that when you get back to trading, avoid oscilators, trendlines, bar analysis, etc and concentrate on market sentiment for 3 months, learn to read the market , than get back to the sketching board and start planning...

    Good luck
My two Israeli cents for all you struggling guys out there...

Looks like the OP is the only losing trader in this entire thread, lol!

If 90%+ lose money, why is this forum not indicative of it?

  4. This is the internet

    Over the internet everyone:

    A. Is a millionaire
    B. Had been laid in 100+ dates (only hot girls)
    C. Has a 12 inch+ dick
    D. Can outrun a Ferrari, with a compact car.
    E. Can lift record heavy weights, excel in sports, without using steroids.
    F. Always wins by trading.
